What are the fees like at FAMA?
The fees are by month and vary across the ranks of teachers, the level of course/instruments and the duration. However for the first four Trials, we would collect per lesson. For example, if one is starting a beginner course for 30 minutes, the trial fee is $50/lesson. Please contact us for the full fees.
How does the number of lessons work at FAMA?
We offer 12 lessons every term. The calendar is available at the footer of our webpage. Reschedule of lessons are possible if informed in advanced.
Can I stop lessons temporarily if I am away for a 1 month or more?
Yes, you can suspend lessons. Do inform us at least 2 weeks in advance.
How do I terminate my course at FAMA?

What are the differences among Junior, Senior and Master Teachers at FAMA?
These are some of the qualities of the respective ranks of the teachers:
Junior Teacher (JT):
- A JT may or may not have a music degree. Those who do not have a music degree will either have a diploma in their instrument or are currently pursuing a diploma/degree.
- A JT has less than 10 years of teaching experience.
- A ST has at least a music degree (or higher qualifications).
- To be an ST, the teacher would have at least 10 years of teaching experience.
- A MT has at least a music degree or higher qualification and at least 15 years of teaching experience.
- A MT is qualified to teach student teachers and is able to lead other teachers (JT & ST).
